the TT also come stock with ko4's and a totally different tune..

 

some one needs to add some cams and get a retune on a ko3 and see what kind of power they can get. when i added cams to my car with a small tune i easliy got 30whp

 

seriously? wow, was the 30awhp with the t3/t4 or a different turbo setup?

I'm doing cams on my GT30Rproject motor. It would be nice to get a base line before hand, but I really don't want to build it, do a dyno run, then rebuild it again. Talking to BobQ (engine master of the 1.8t), with a large turboyou can easily gain 20 hp over stock.

 

o ya and i love my lopy idle. makes me fell like a i have a v8

 

I dont think the cams that are avalible for the 1.8 are going to give you a lopy idle.. from what i have read they help out the low end hp and tq numbers to off-set the turbo lag.. run a search on audizine i think I saw a few dyno numbers.. if i went with a bigger turbo (bigger then my 28rs) I would run a set of cams.. i want to see if i can get 300whp-320whp with this set up first.. if i even keep the car..
