Hi all, I was just wondering if there is a way to remove that credit-card sized drawer in the dash above the radio, located in between the ESP button and the hazard button.

If I could get it out, that would be a nice place to stick my V1 remote display.

P.S. It's a 2002 A4 1.8T in case you're wondering. No navigation system or Bose.

 

Been done many times. The top trim simply pulls off (clips) and you should be able to take it out.

 

A good yank on the tray made it come out. I'll post another thread with pics of my V1 install.
