Can the ECU be FLashed
can the ecu be flashed in an 1998 A4 1.8T???
Just got off the phone with my tuner and he says he has to check with apr if they can flash the ecu in a 98 1.8T...
Any answers would be great

With the older ones you can not. My 99.5 can not so im almost sure your can not. I had to solder on a new chip instead of flashing. I THINK its 2001 started the ones that can be flashed but I could be wrong.

ic... That sucks cause my tuner doesnt solder them...
How long does the hole apr sending out and waiting for arrival last anyway?

Solder for up to 99.5, 00 is a bench flash (still have to remove ecu) and 01+ is a flash done through the OBD port- I think.
