cant find the prob.
I have a 2000 A4, 1.8t,GIAC chip, Baileys DV.
i have been having some problems with my car, when i would boot on it, it would shake and my CEL would come on, so i changed my plugs, and nothing. I had it scanned and swaped my coilpacks, and thought that i had two bad ones, so i bought 2 new ones, it worked fine for like 2 days, but yesterday i booted on it and it shook again and the CEL came back on, i had it read and i had a misfire in cyl.2, wich has a new coilpack, went for a ride and got my CEL to come back on and read it i had misfires in cyl. 2,3. wich both have new coilpacks, but before it was my cyl 1,4. that were missfiring, before i bought new ones. also it reads that my o2 sensonr it out and that i have radom misfires, also that the Internal Resistance is too High, i have no clue what it is,
could it be my ICM, and were is it located on my car.
thatnks a lot for ur help

your icm was always missing, or you just noticed ther wasnt one? some dont have icms, mine doesnt either. have you unplugged your maf, I was goin crazy untill I changed mine and now everthing beautiful.
2000+ dont have ICM's. You have a cat fault code because of the misfire. Unburnt fuel/gases going into the cat will cause a cat fault code due to running rich. If youve replaced your plugs and coil packs, I would suspect the MAF. Make sure your coil pack wiring harness/wiring isnt melted too. A bad head gasket can cause misfires too, but thats highly unlikely to be the case.
