cant get wheel off

aside from the obvious reasons (i.e. your wheel falling off, trashing your wheel bearings etc.) the likelihood of you stripping you lug studs is HUGE. and you REALLY don't want to do that. so I'd say kick it, use penetrating oil, even try a torch, but DO NOT drive around with your lug nuts loosened. BAD IDEA. even if they're only "slightly loose"

Nickellis if you read his post he said just crack them the slightest bit so they aren't completely locked onto the wheel. He also said not to loosen it any more. Try it out, if you loosen the lugs half a turn, you dont have much space to play with, but enough so the wheel could pop off the rust and still ride a short distance.

But kicking the wheel should work fine. Im just saying if worse comes to worse that old trick has never failed.
