Hi. I have been asking many things about the problems i m having with my new 97 1.8T a4. I want to thank you guys before I ask you 2 more questions .... I feel like in a community...
So..I know my AUDI's chime doesnt work. so no sound if I dont wear seat belt.. or open doors with key in ignition etc.
1. But today i had a door opened. I used my remote to lock the car and it did although one door was fully open. and it dint even shout any alarm thingi !!!! Shud it be doing it or not?
Also. if I press the panic button.. it does shout and goes quiet when I press it again.
2. Is there a temp indicator apart from the one in climate controls in 97 Audi 1.8T? (My manual shows a temp indicatorin the dashboard under gear indicator. But my horizontal screen is empty.

1. The alarm will still lock the doors with one open. It just doesnt sound the alarm honk untill that door is closed.
2. The one in the dash is for outside air temp. If its not showing either your car doenst have that option or the display is messed up.

I got it.. Yea it does work.. I just tested it..
And I think I ll just forget about the god damn temp thingi.... coa it aint gonna make any difference...
There is a big temp gauze anyways called the window glass... lower it down and check the outside temp... LOL
