DELAYED TO MONDAY, BECAUSE MY TRANSMISSION BOLTS ARE "ROUNDED" OFF? WHAT THE MOTHERFUCK IS WRONG WITH AUDI. I WANNA GO DOWN THERE WITH A GUN AT THIS POINT.

 

Your transmission bolts? I had the same problem (just the light came on). They wound up dropping the pan and cleaning the pickup screen and oil pump overnight in some solution they had. Cleared it right up and it's been fine since. Looking at everything else it seems pretty clean overall.

What exactly is it about these engines that causes this oil sludge problem? I mean come on, it's just an engine! It's not like it's something complicated. I understand the issues with the smaller filter. Is that the source of the problem?

Obviously, what cincyTT is trying to say is that the rounded bolts were caused by time dilation, which is very common among 1.8t powered A4's. It's nothing really to worry about, just be sure to reset your clocks when everything is cleared up!
