car goes to 100 degree when idle ....
When the car is running at normal temperature (reading 90 degree on instrument cluster) ... and i turn it off for a few secs then back on again , the needle goes to 100degrees then slowly back to 90, shouldnt it always stay at 90, is that normal???
while its running the coolant is in motion so the temp is kept down, when the engine is stopped the coolant is still so it expands a little and the temp rises until it cools some cars have run on fans for this reason to help it cool
