since today i was driving my car an di noticed that after 50mph the car started moving like kinda jumping, it is only at high speed, its bumping, i asked a friedn who has an awd talon and he said its the snow that built up inside the rim causing to have a bumping motion, u guys think its that or something else?

 

i had that EXACT problem earlier today but it cleared up after a few miles of interstate driving. yeah, i definitely think it could be ice inside the wheels. never run into that problem before, but i just asked someone else about it and they said the same thing.

 

is it sporatic or is it a consistant thump thump thump...? Does it get faster as you accelerate?

 

yea that has happend to me before snow gets packed on the inside if your rim then when u drive it feels like your tires are really unbalanced.

 

Can happen if a wheel weight falls off too.
