I have a B5 1.8T that is now approaching 97,000 miles and it now says "service in 200 miles" any idea what needs to be serviced. I just replaced serval parts such as the ignition wires, spark plugs, and air filter as well as just getting doen an oil change. Could these be the parts that need to be serviced?

 

Check your owner's manual, it has the whole service schedule in it. The warning is just the service interval counter, you can reset it when you service the car.

 

If you haven't done the timing belt, it's time.
Do an oil and filter change with synthetic oil.
