My wifes A4 is running very rich. Is there a way of leaning it off a bit. can someone help please.

when did you do a service?? and how hard do you drive it

I had a service done 2 week's ago.
oil. coolant and the usual stuff. but he did not have plugs in sock would that affect it?

Check for boost and vacuum leaks.

 

it could do but it might be worth cleaning and regapping them to 28th with the mods you have done

 

also consider using a fuel booster system cleaner

If you have boost leak, you'll run rich. Check all the hoses make sure there is no leak.

Get a new set of spark plugs and run them couple of weeks then check their condition and color.

If you want to spend little money on your car, it's time to get Boost gauge. It will help a lot if you have boost/vacum leak or not.
