Ok i love my car but have had nothing but problems and only had it a couple weeks. well last night while i was driving my turbo seemed to spool a bit louder, and i started hearing a blowoff sound which has never happen. there appeared to be a slight loss of power also. well about 20-30 miles later my car stalled on me. I then started it again and a few minutes later it stalled again. when i started it the next time it road really really rough and had no power. i parked it for about an hour, when i started it again it would just immediately die. i had it towed to the dealer to look at the problem and he said"i'll see if we can fix it under warranty because whoever owned the vehicle before you modified some hoses and such under the hook and did somewhat of a hackup job. well my question is can a broken hose cause the car to just start and die? any opinions on what the problem may be?

 

Yes it can

 

1 vacumn hose was completely missing, and one came off from the turbo. 150 bucks to fix, not covered by warranty because the hoses had been played with.

 

I had same problem in my car, I was chenging all vacuem tubes and I had to start a car for some reason so it started using cold injector and died out , presing accelerator didnt do anything.
