hey is the 3.0 2002 a4's still limited at 130?? I ask cause i just got mine a month ago and its winter so the fastest i hit was about 110 before the gf was freaked, in my defence the road was and had been completely dry for weeks, oh well. next time i go on the highway will be with out her hehe. ps the fastest i've gone is 155mph in the car i traded for the a4, 04' str-4 (now that was a hella fun and fast car.)

why wouldnt u want to remove the chip. but its true it keeps u safe i guess. but if you wanted to race on tracks couldnt you remove this by chipping?

edit: remove the governor

 

Ive gone 130 in 5th with the needle doing like 5300 rpms. Im sure if I chipped it which I am I could do about 145 maybe faster. The giac chip says you can take it to 7100 but thats just nuts.2001 a4 2.8LQM
