ok today when i went to get my tires rotated the guy told me my inspection was 4 mounths over due. I dont really drive my audi that much in the warmmer seasons. Well anyways i went to get the car inspected today so i dont get a ticket and well they wont pass it because my E-brake wont stay up it works just dosent hold by itself. So now i have a $250 dollar bill to pay so i can get my car inspected. Do anything think it is a bad idea to drive it with over due inspection iam not sure if a cop would be a dick about it or not if i get pulled over thanks

 

stuck ratchet that locks the E break, spray some WD40 releasing oil down there where the cable goes into the bottom that's where the ratchet is

Yeah. They will burn you for that. It is a big revenue deal for the state to 1)make you pay for inspection and 2)writing tickets for people that don't go along with 1.

 

NY avant80@2.6 well i took it to a place to look at it and i guess it is thew hole ebrake lever that is broken or something like that. Iam still looking for a place that will inspect it with it not fixed

 

i live in ny , they like to give out tickets for inspection because its an easy ticket for them. by me in ny sometime on the ramp getting onto the parkway they have a stop for seatbelt and inspection. so i would try and get your car inspected.

 

try not to fail inspection too much... because they usually report each incident to CarFax.

 

I have to get my inspection done too it was due today. Does anyone know if they don't pass a car for inspection if there are no windshield washers? I have a CF hood and they do not have mounts for the nozzles Any suggestions?
