Default Castrol Synthec 5W30
I have been running my car using this oil for about 8,000 km and this morning I touched the oil and still clean and slippery. Do you guys think I should change my oil now? I put this oil 3 months ago.

Which engine is it? If it's a turbo, I'd change it in the next 500km or so. The 1.8t's have a problem with oil sludging up, so the more often you change it the less likely that is to happen.

It is the 1.8T and I will change it tonight. What oil do you use?
Should I changed the brand to Mobil 1? Should I put in 15W50? Will that cause any problem during the winter months?

Stick to the oil recommended in the owner's manual. Unless you've made major mods, the viscosity outlined by AUDI is usually the way to go.

Mobil 1 15W-50 will slightly hurt gas mileage. Audi now recommends Mobil 1 0W-40 European Car Formula.
