I need a new cat back exhaust for my 1998 Audi A4 1.8T manual with quattro.
I'm looking at Borla but I can't seem to get a straight answer from them as to whether it will fit my car.
Does anybody know of any cat back systems that are a simple bolt on fit for this car?

Neuspeed makes one, miltek as well... dont rule out custom exhaust work either... find a shop that can make mandrel bends, and you're golden. Use stainless of course, and pick a muffler that you like (remus is a favourite of mine).

 

Magnaflow customised mine. It sounds almost as good as dad's GT-2 Porsche. But the GT-3 is way louder and throatier.

 

custimized is the best way to go because of the better fit and throatier noise...

 

go with milltek, at idle it sounds so subtle, but opened up it sounds great

Depends, a shop should be able to quote you. I got mine made for my old eagle talon, was stainless, 2.5" and it was 550 CDN I think, without a muffler. (that included a high flow cat)

 

well just to let ya know borla makes an exhaust for u its 610 shipped from hopupracing.com....guys he has a 1.8t not a 2.8
