can I get a bump for knowing exactly what was wrong or what???

FYI to all of the people out there, if you're misfiring, stop driving your car until you fix the problem. misfiring for any extended period of time will fry your cat...and your O2 sensors...and where I'm from thats about $2g's if you pay someone to replace it (on a VW, audi, probably more), plus whatever it costs to fix whatever is causing the misfire.

how you were driving around with 2 bad coil packs, misfiring on 2 cylinders, without noticing???....I don't know.....

 

I had this exact same problem on an Oldsmobile Toronado I used to drive. Bad coil control module, doesn't burn all the gas, clogs the cat. Cat gets hot, restricts engine flow. misfire=bad

 

$2g's for o2 sensors and cat? those thieves!

my dad is genious, to avoid emissions he said well just say we sold the car and ill just put papers on his name lol

my boost is spiking about 23-24 then dropping to 17-18 then pulling back up to 20lbs even... it holds there then starts falling off... im hoping my oem DV is going out and the new R1 fixes it... it used to spike 23-24 then drop to 20 and hold....
