Default Cat question

If i get a cat back exhaust that also includes a downpipe, is it more feasible to get a high flow cat as well? I have a 2001 a4 1.8t and i don't know what the cat is like on them, am i going to notice a power difference if i replace the cat or just stick with the stock one? I know a lot of cats on a lot of cars don't do squat if you replace them, that's why I was curious if anyone knew on here that could help me out, Thanks!

Default RE: Cat question

I am getting the cat back exhaust, and I figured I might as well go with a high flow cat. I figured thats better off since if I decided to go for a high flow cat later, I'd be paying more for labor than if I got both done at once.
