Hey,
I recently bought a 96 audi a4. It has no cd player and I want to keep it stock so I won a oem six disc changer that fits my year audi on ebay. The question is, it came with no mounting hardware, so is it possible for me to take it to the dealership and just have them install it?

Also I bought a keyless entry fob on ebay with the programming instructions, but it is not working, so I was wondering if anyone had any ideas.
I am sorry for the stupid questions, i am former land rover owner which had tons of quirks, but now i need to get to know audis better. THANKS GUYS!!

 

yea im sure the dealer can just install it if you want

 

you can probably buy the hardware and install the changer yourself, and for the key fob, is it laser cut key/fob or just a fob?

if it is just the fob you should be able to follow the directions, if it si a key/fob, you will need to go to the dealership and get the "chip" put in it to make it work

 

yeah its just the fob, yeah I thought I would be able to program it myself too, but for some reason its not working. I lifted up the rear seats to make sure my audi is keyless capable and does have the silver box which i read that it meant it does have keyless entry. So alittle thrown off here...
