i want to put a system in my 96 a4. i know i need the deck, 2 wiring harnesses, antenna adapter, and the installation dash kit. my local circuit city (where im getting it installed for free) has all of the above, except the installation dash kit. does anyone know where i can find one ??

 

I used the wire harness for a VW in my '98 A4. It was only good for power and ground. The other wires I ran myself, leaving the factory wiring in place. The biggest PITA was running the speaker wire through the rubber boot between the door and the body, but everything is hidden nicely. The guys at Circuit City should be able to pull out the factory radio and check their VW harness for proper fit in less than 10 minutes
