After picking up my car from the garage, I noticed that there is a black line threw the red letters and numbers on the CD display. This was not ere before it went in. Shal I take it back or is there a quick fix so im not without a car?

i would take it back... it seems like they must have hit it somehow... what work did they do there? and is this a stock unit or aftermarket?

 

Its a stock unit, They had to reset the computer/alarm system as it was making my car stall after start up.

 

That's a line of dead pixels on the LCD. You'll have to replace the head unit to fix that.

no no, blame it on them... they had to go behind the dash and probably removed it... i would go to a different shop first and ask them what the procedure normally is and if they have to remove it and then go back if the answer is yes. Don't ask those guys if they did it or not though
