The car im trying to get is a 99 A4 1.8tQM and it has 97k on it. He said the same thing as illridezwannabe said, that his machanic said it was fine and not to change, but this guy is the second owner so i dont know if the first owner changed it or not. Also this man is running normal oil through his audi not synth. i think ill get keep looking for another A4

im buying a 98 a4 with 121,000 miles timing belt was changed at 67 so its due. when i get it 1st thing im doing is new belt and upgrade tensioner along with a new oil filter and synthetic oil.

ill have to do that to then it has a 6 month warrenty so ill have the mechanic fix it up while its under the warrenty if any things wrong.
