Default Changed my spark plugs...whoops

I have two little orange plastic covers over two of my spark plug packs. One on each side of the engine, on plugs 2 and 5. Dropped one of this little bastards all the way down to the bottom. Tried fishing it out with a coat hanger (came damn close too) but now its under the engine, out of sight.

I feel dumb asking, but what the heck is its purpose anyways? As long as its nothing important, It'll just rattle around and eventually fall out on the road, right?

needle nose pliers... long ones. GL

it's pretty much to keep out moisture from the plug ends.

dont even take it out, just unscrew the little screws that go around the perimiter of the bottom of the bumper.

you dont need them. they are spark plug wire grabbers, they are there to make the wires easier to pull out.

that thing right?

Yup, thats it ^^^^^ thanks

I'm taking it into the shop for for my 40k tuneup on Tuesday. Might have 'em fish it out while they're under there...but not if it'll be a pain.

First time ever changing my plugs...big day for me :-)

(But some dude backed into my buddy's TT pulling out of his driveway....lousy day for him)
