i found a write up on changing my fuel filter and he obviously has a nice car lift available ... well i dont 
... do you guys think i could do it without the whole car lift dealy ... or should i go find one before i tackle the job ? .... i have no idea when the last filter was changed so i thought i'd do it.

You wont need a lift. The fuel filter is towards the side so it wont be hard to get the clearance you need to get at it. If you really wanted to you could even do it with the car on the ground.
