Check Engine

Can I reset a check engine light by disconnecting the battery for a while? If so, How long does it have to be disconnected?

Yup thanks it worked.... didnt need the radio code... i have an aftermarket deck :P

30-Minutes.

Entire System will reset for 1-week before another check engine light comes on.

(at least on a 96 A4)
