Default Check engine light?

My check engine light has popped up a couple of times recently. Both times it was the same problem, my car was running to lean (to much air, not enough fuel). The last time I filled it up I did only use 88 octane. So I bought a octane booster to hopefully solve the problem. A couple days later, the check engine light came on again saying the same thing. This time I bought a fuel systems cleaner. My question is, if the check engine light comes on again, what would the problem be? New fuel Injectors, fuel filter? Just wanna see what you guys think.

running too lean can be caused by many things. FPR, vacuum leaks, injectors, fuel filter... can you give me some more info tho

ok here are some things for running to lean...
Intake/Exhaust leak
MAP sensor
MAF sensor
Evap canister purge valve
Injecters, fuel pump, fuel filter
Do you have a boost guage? If so what does it read? Or have you noticed any loss in power? if so my guess you have a boost leak after the turbo
