Anyone know where and what kind of chip you would recommend for a 2.8 tip? somone told me they dont exists.

www.tap1.com sells a chip they just came out with earlier this year that claims much bigger gains than the giac chip. check them out.

 

yeah the gain of only 10 horse and 10 torque is kinda lame compared to the 30 hp and 40 torque for the 1.8, for the tap chip of 18 gain how more more power will i really feel, will it be a noticable large diffrence, i dont know to much about cars, never really experienced alot. I know the basics of what things do jsut dont know like the addition of extra ponies

 

I have the upsolute chip installed and it works well, noticeable increase.

Is the GIAC tip chip the same as the regular chip but it also helps the tiptronic shifting? Do you also get the hp gains with the tip chip?

 

no the tip chip is a completly different chip you buy seperatly

 

i wonder if they have any chips that wekr will for the B6 3.0
