Default chip date

i have a 2001 b5 A4 that i bought it used, its been chipped but the parents want me to keep it stock. well it went in the shop and i guess the dealership (yeah, overpriced but im not paying) they mentioned that it had been chipped sometime in its life. i have a GIAC one, its been soldered on, and i was wondering, is it possible to find out from the ecu or the chip to find out when it was added, or if i could pin it on the previous owner. theres a hole in their records so its possible, anyways please let me know asap, thanks

No, you won't be able to tell when it was soldered on the car unless you have a receipt.
