A good buddy of mine is parting out his old vr6 corrado and wants to give me his ODB1 chip. Does anyone know if the chip for his 2.8L 12v vr6 would work with the b5 2.8L 12v quattro??? any help would be appreciated.

Uh not any chance at all. Not only are they different engines, but the A4 is obd2.
