I was just wondering if you were to upgrade to a bigger turbo kit say a eliminator gtrs and you also got a tuning kit like the mika fuel tuning kit and injectors, could you still chip your car afterwards and still see the same performance increase?

Only for the b6s?!?!??! BOOO. Why are they always hating on us b5s? We have just as much potential and we are lighter... wtf. Have you heard of any other fuel tuning kits I could get with the Eliminator GTRS i have my heart set on getting that turbo with the bigger turbine upgrade.

i got that setup, i would stear away from atps software, i just think the kit could be tuned alot better than what it is. Im leaning towards standalone after some maintnace gets caught up. I recently been thinking about it, i could have gotten a full gt28rs for $2200 new. I spent about 2k or so for the gtrs, fueling kit, and 3" inlet pipe so i would have rather forked the extra dough.

Not me. Isnt the gt28rs not a bolt on kit? If it isnt bolt on I wouldnt even consider it.... too many risks and problems that I dont want to deal with. I just need to find out a way to tune the gtrs properly

Atps kit is hardly a bolton. And the 300hp dynos are bogus.Do not run the mika software. If you do buy from atp, and if they manage to get ur order right(which the wont), you wont be happy for with Fisher price stuff they will send you.I have yet to get 1 order right from atp.

They have 300horse dynos, but no one know what octane, what timing advance, what boost pressure or anything about those dynos. No one in the real world has seen those kind of numbers. I don't know what your heart is set on that turbo. Get a .64 28RS or a 28R instead. It will be harder to find programming, but there is no programming for the GTRS.

I'm not completely sure, but I do think the 28RS is bolt-on. There's quite a lot of stuff to bolt on; mani, turbo, DP, inlet, oil/water lines, probably other stuff I'm forgetting.

TomRitt on this forum has the ATP 28RS kit in his car. He doesn't have the Mika fueling kit, but I've heard rumors that it's ok for the 28RS. 300whp. Although that was from a guy who was trying to sell his car. He had a dyno graph and everything, but the A/F was not pretty.

Audi skate snow is making more than 300 chp with the GTRS and e code tuning. Everyone on AZ that has gotten that kit has been very happy. To bad they don't have tuning for the b5.
