I just bought myself a 2000 A4 quattro 1.8T, totally stock, and looking to get a chip, and don't know a ton about it. I am worried about the chip hurting my turbo in the long run, is this legitimate? in trying to get my car some more power, but not make it too loud or modded out looking. Any suggestions, advice? Is this chip just going to rip life off my car?

 

not to sound mean or anything...but...
try the search, there are a million threads about this...

but for me...i havent gotten a chip yet, but im goin with GIAC, since it is the most aggresive...APR has the power more evenly distributed, but not as edgy as GIAC...stratmosphere ive never even heard of anyone using that, so idk
