Default chip upgrade

Hi.. i have an Audi A4 turbo. I have been reading some of your forums and posts and have seen alot of A4 owner's are using apr chip upgrades. Well, I just wanted to let u know about "tap" or total audi performance upgrades. There stage 2 upgrade will put your stock A4 in 6's 0 to 60. There leading the way in the racing delveopment. If you follow road track racing you will see there tap 1 race car where they perfect all there chips and performance upgrades before being sold. I dont know much about "apr" chips but would like to learn... if u have some good info on them let me know

APR and GIAC are the most popular chips because of reputation and volume in business. There are others: Abt, MTM, Wetterauer, etc.

Interesting info, but GIAC chips are at the forefront of chip technology when it comes to all out performance. The fastest S4's run with GIAC.

You can read about GIAC HERE.

and APR HERE.

My S4 was bumped up to 312 after the GIAC X-chip was installed (no other mods) - a 25% gain. APR has the same relative numbers.

Stock hp = 250

Stock 0-60mph = 5.9 seconds

GIAC X-chip 0-60 = approximately 5.0 seconds

My S4 with all mods 0-60mph = approximately 4.3 seconds (unofficial/no timeslip yet)
