hey, i have an 04 A4 1.8t with 50, 000 kms, i want to get a little more performance from my car, im wondering if there are any chips that do not void warranties, or if i could get my chipped flashed? im planning on modding my car, but at the same time having a warranty to me is really important. any help is appreciated.

 

i believe the 04's are flashed instead of chipped. a chip won't void your whole warranty and if you get a chip with multiple programs, all you gota do is switch it to stock mode when you bring it in, and they won't even know. unless you have a huge problem, i doubt they are going to go through the trouble of trying to figure out if its chipped.

or if you dont wana take any risk, you could buy a chipped/flashed ECU and swap it in there, and then if you ever have to take it in to the dealer, you can just swap the ECU's
