cleaning maf

The maf is attached directly to the airbox, the sensor is attached to it. Take the housing out with either a 7mm socket or screwdriver. You can just spray it in the housing since you need security torx bits to get them out and not to many people have those.

Denatured alcohol will do the trick as well. Take the maf out of the car no need to pull the sensor out of there just the houseing and all. Geta zip lock bag toss the maf in fill tell it just covers the maf zip up and shift back and forth a few times watch the crap come out of it and you'll be suprised. Let it dry for about 2 hoursor depends on weather or just dry and start taping lightly on hand to get all of it out and you are good to go. There will be no damage to any of the sparks eletronics. Its quick easy and dose a damm good god.

BTW: How in the hell dose everyones maf get dirty mine stays almost perfect. Is the snow that bad where you all are at?
