Heated Seats not working
Getting nipply in NYso I decided to click on the heated seats ..........to my dismay they're not working. [:@]Niether one seems to heat up at all and last year I could fry eggs on them.I checked the fuse in dash and it's fine.
ANY ideas?

Did you just look at the fuse, or did you replace it and try again? Sometimes they'll blow in such a way that it's not obvious just by looking at them. It's kind of a long shot, but it's worth checking it out if you didn't. Swap in new fuses and try again - hopefully that's all that happened. And you're not kidding - it is getting cold here. I've been using mine this past week, and it's reminded me again how much I love them

get a new seat with the hear working??
(sorry to thread jack)
Are you kidding me about kneeling on the seat!?
Who doesn't ever do that??
That may be possible over time but why both at the same time?? It's got to be something else.
I'll test for power at each harness under the seat and I'll let you know. That will at least send me in the right direction.

Yes, kneeling on the seat can screw up the heated seat elements. I bet many people kneel with one knee when reaching into the car to get somthing. I know I did it all the time without thinking about it. I believe that the owners manual specifically warns against kneeling on the seat. Just be happy your seat doesnt work, rather than a hole being burnt through your seat and pants[:@]
