Well if you paint the orange bulbs silver, then they will still look orange when they are on, but not orange during the day when they are off. However, if you put in clear bulbs, in most states, you run the risk of getting a ticket for not having/using the right (orange) bulbs. It's your ticket/morning spent in court if you get snagged, so don't say no one here told you the clear bulbs in the corners weren't illegal. And it wasn't that difficult after all, was it? Post pics.

If you paint the bulbs silver that is also illegal and you could get ticketed. If you want legal "stealth" turn signal bulbs just go buy the properly manufactured kind and spend the extra $5-8. Man people are cheap!

hell, doing the CC mod is illegal, so is going 1mph over, not stopping completely, changing lanes through an intersection etc.... nothing to stress over.... i would think it would have to be a very observant cop or one you had really pissed off to get a ticket for your bulbs!

and the point of doing the CC mod is NOT to look OEM

The clear corner mod is only illegal for us because we no longer have a reflector on the front of the car. It varies by state, but essentially, as long as your signal bulb lights up amber to an acceptable brightness you have legal turn signals.
