My 98 A4 when the engine is running you step on the clutch pedal just before it reaches the floor, it makes a grind noise like like something is grinding metal to metal(flywheel, clutch fork) Im not sure. It only does it if you press the clutch pedal all the way down. I can still shift gears when driving but I cant press the pedal all the way down with out makeing that grinding sound like metal to metal. Any Audi Techs out there to help me?

 

Update!!! My hearing isnt to good but i just noticed that when I push in the clutch pedal all the way the noise might be a buzzing sound because the alt. meter on the dash goes half way down when the noise starts. Can anybody help me?
