When drivivng my car mid-range rpms I notice a squeek when I depress the clutch. The noise lasts a second but can hear very well outside. When drivivng easy I don't hear and when I drive hard I don't hear. What could that be and should I be concernd? Also I need advice on how to get at the air filter? Car is a 03' A4 1.8 quattro.

Is that a common problem with these cars?

 

i havent heard anything about them in Audi's but they commonly squeak if they are faulty or sometimes they are just that way

 

How long will it last if bad and need help with the air filter looks buried!
