Clutch Question
I've got about 105k on my car, bought it used and just curious if there is an inspection plate or some other easy way to inspect the clutch, I live nowhere close to home so, If i could find out and do it at home insted of geting back to school and finding out that I need it there, that would be good, Thanks/.
No way to inspect that I know of. I would suggest putting the car in second gear and reving to 2000-2500 rpms. Drop the clutch, the car should stall. If not the clutch is on the way out.

I've done that before on accedent and it does stall, but I was wondering why my clutch pettel engages gut befor I pull my foot off it, in other words right at the very top of its travle, is that normal, and or is it anything to wrory about, Last time a clutch went out on me the sliping started and I got the car another five or six miles. I'm just trying to avoid that, and how dificult is the clutch to replace on a 97 2.8 FWD. Thanks.
