Default Clutch question

I was looking at the South Bend clutch company, partly because everyone says they are really good and also
because they arent that expensive. I understand there is a feel difference in the HD to the SS clutch, 50 % or
whatever the site claims. Well im installing a ko4 with giac file etc. Would there be any reason for me to go
for a stage 3 or a stage 2, stage 3 handles more power but does that meen it sacrifices the stiffness of the clutch.
I still need somehting drivable, but somehting that wont slip. Oh and how much does it cost ruffly to have a clutch
installed on 1.8t?

I just had a southbend stage 2 installed in my car. I have put about 3,000 miles on it so far and can't complain. Pedal feels the same as stock. The stage 3 isn't that much more so I would spring for that since you are adding some more horsepower. I paid $600to have my clutch installed by a european garage.

A K04 upgrade isn't enough power to constitute a new clutch. I'd suggest waiting that upgrade out until you get a GT28R or a K05.

Your right, but how about 110k miles on a stock clutch, installing a new ko4? lol that constitutes a new clutch.
