Unplug your maf and see what happens. If the jerkiness goes away the maf is the problem. The maf is inside the air box and the plug sits on top of the airbox under the rubber seal/cover. Just pry the rubber off with a screw driver and unplug it. Dont leave it unplugged for too long though cuz youll be running real rich. A bad maf can deffinately cause intermitent problems such as detonation and choppy acceleration/jerking.

 

well see the jerkin ess isn't even occuring at the moment.. it hasnt happened in about a week! but i still wonder what's causing it? I'm trying to put the car up for sale but i don't want to scam/jip anybody, i want the car to be pristine when i sell it. I'm even gonna buy new door handles to replace the peeling ones and throw them in when i sell it.
