Hey MagicHobo, I'm in the same situation as you. Can't Decide on what type of suspension to get, especialy with this here Chicago Weather and my Sloped Driveway.
I want adjustability so I'm more leaning towards coilovers, just not sure which one.
For now, I'm just gonna ride out the rest of this winter with the sport suspension and hopefully i'll have the $$ for them come spring/summer time.

If you are moving to Chicago will you be near Naperville?

GRD in Naperville. Talk to Twan. He's an Audi man and a good mechanic.

They'll probably recommend Stasis. They quoted me $1000. Others recommend the H&R coilovers. I'm not sure which way I'll go. I haven't come up with the $ yet anyway.

The snow here isn't really that bad, it's just gets friggin' cold. I run two sets of tires, summer & winter. Normally the snow doesn't get deep here especially if you stay on the road. I wouldn't worry about adjustable ride height for that reason.
HOLY MOLY this is great news! I'm moving to Aurora at first so I'll be just a hop skip and a jump away now! Sweet! I was looking around and think I will end up getting the Stasis-Koni street sport. http://www.achtuning.com/shop.asp?CategoryID=37 All the reasearch on this forum has pointed to this being a good product with happy customers. Also GRD does APR chips and maintenace! Thanks Russ!

Maybe I wont splurge on Christmas this year and save up till February to get it all at once.

I've been driving Audi for 7 years but I'm just recently investigating upgrades. APG and AUDI05, what do you like about the Tein system? I have heard mostly only about STaSIS and H & R. Did you do any comparisons or base your decisions on anything specific or other users opinions?
I'm just trying to make a decision myself.

my friend is a whoelsaler and likes tein the best, also my wheel guy has them and loves them. Says they ride way better than stock and perform better also. Im not sure it can be much different than Koni/statis but who knows. They are becoming a big brand.

TEIN SS coilovers have a big adjustable height range and damping, or you can get TEIN coilovers just height ajustable and there like 800
