Coilovers - $2000: Is there a cheaper solution?

We're supporters of Audiforums.com and we're also not that far from Aurora!
Just like most have already mentioned, a decent set of coilovers can be had for around 1000. 2000 is something very special, but probably not what you're going to need. Unless you're looking to build a hard-core road-race car, of course.
Koni's (height and dampening adjustable) or the H&R street coilovers are a very nice start for most. The handling is unbelievable on the H&R's, but you can't adjust dampening, only height (but they are very nice right out of the box as far as the dampening). However, the Koni's are pretty soft, even at the stiffest setting.
Our hourly rate is only $65/hr when you buy the parts through us too!
