does anyone know if about 30* F is too cold to prime parts of the car? i know its not advised to do body work in the cold due to shrinking/ expanding, but does the same apply for paint casuei would like to start priming some of my car today.

Run a heater in your garage then, i used to do that when i was restoring my VW, just keep the back door open for some ventilation

well you said you don't have a garage so I'm thinking it wouldn't be a good idea for you to be painting at all because of the risk of debris messing it up no?

well im gunna prime the whole car in flat black for a while since its gunna take a few weeks for all the parts to come in. i have a sandable primer so any imperfections i can sand right out. ive primed plenty of cars when i used to work at the body shop but i never thought about the fact that thats indoors and i gotta do this outside.
