I am kinda confused about what exactly the strut is? I just purchased the Koni Coilover Set and am wondering if the coilovers come with struts? anyone no? or will i be running stock struts

 

The strut is basically the shock absorber. Your coilovers have the spring and shock together in one nice package, so you're good.

 

okay good. The reason why i ask is because my buddy was showing me his yesterday and his has a stock strut then an adjustable coil and springs. Are those like knockoff lookalike coilovers lol?

 

Sorry - i didn't notice you had FWD. I'm not familiar w/FWD and was speaking in regards to the quattro coilovers. If i'm not mistaken, for FWD coilovers, the front set should already incorporatea new strut.

Can someone verify?
