Default Considering switching from BMW to A4

I'm looking to trade in my 2000 BMW 328i, and I'm giving serious consideration to the 2006 A4 Quattro. I've driven it and the 06 330i. I like them both, and would like some opinions on Audi service and reliability and your comments on the two cars.

Many thanks,

Yaz

audi's warranty is pretty amazing. i think bmw is known for it's warranties but i'm pretty sure audi's is better. it also depends on what dealership you go to. if you buy your car from the dealership though it shouldn't be an issue. i would get a new audi just because i think the new BMWs look OOgly.

I have to agree--I much prefer my current Bimmer's look to the "angry eyebrow" grille on the new one!

new 330 is a dream to drive. a6 is a bigger car, more lux than sport.

i'm into more of a nimble car, so either 330 or a4/s4. but just depends on what u're looking for

In my opinion the Audi's interior is far better designed as well as the exterior. I'm more partial to the understated looks of the Audi. The Audi also has Quattro.

I have an older A4 (96) which I bought the same time as a friend bought a 318i. Though we both prefer the looks and feel of the Audi, his BMW was probably a better deal since the A4 requires some very expensive maintenance (and parts, compared to BMW). But, that was the past...

I have talked to a couple people that own new Audis or BMWs and both camps have been satisfied with warranty service here. I have been debating between which one of these cars I would buy as my next one, and they seem fairly comparable. The deciding factor for me would be the all-wheel drive over rear-wheel, since I see a bit of snow. Also, I think the new A4s look a ton better than any new BMWs, but that's opinion of course. You can't really go wrong with either, though!
