Default Coolant Drain tube size?

Was just curious if anyone had the tube size of the coolant drain plug for a B5.

I would guess 1/2 inch OD but i didn't have a tube handy when i did my timing belt. I think it would have been a little cleaner for me to have drained it that way. If you have pets you know how dangerous even a little coolant on the floor can be.

in case you have no idea what i'm talking about:

Don't know the size off the top of my head. You can just measure it with a tape or ruler. If you get it a size too large you can always use a hose clamp and make it work.
