must be a 01 thing. doing it on an aeb engine wouldn't even take 1 minute

on the 2001's its a PITA to get to i just had mine installed for 20 bucks my own parts didnt want the hassle of doing it. The parts are on ebay for like 20 bucks shipped

i did find a 2002 DIY CTS and i have heard its the same as the 2001's hope this helps

What year did they start replacing the black sensors with the green ones?

 

Watch your face you you pull the CTS. After you pull the clip it comes out really easy followed by lots of expensive lifetime antifreeze. It tastes pretty good though....and I haven't got cold since.
