finished timing belt installation, started right up (thank you forums for some invaluable info) however the mechanical cooling fan is not operating. Belt tension is good, pulley is spinning like a top, but I can hold the fan blades as if the clutch is not engaging. do those mechanical fan clutch assemblies go bad or did I miss something in the re-assembly like a lock key or whatever?
