Default couple of 'q's

hi and thanks in advance for any help
justreplaceded my a4 for a newer one after years of loyal service ive now got a 2002 ,20i my first questionis when i start the car from cold the initial noise sounds like my diesel van last about 1 second and only when the car is could is that normal ? my second question is again when cold i can hear a knock from under the car roughly under the rear seats area again when the car is warm usaly 5-10 mins it stops ,it only knocks when i pull away ? !
ive been to my local audi dealer for a sevice told them about these and they reported no faults ,any of you guys know of these problems before?
again thanks

so its a 2.0i FWD and a knock from the rear on pull away? its either serious like suspension which I doubt or the exhaust rubber holders are weak ( get under there and give the exhaust a good shake ),

did they change the oil filter or did they just wipe it clean ( what oil did they use ) ill bet it was cheap ****

when taking a car for a service always paint or mark the parts you know they have to change, as for the oil supply your own and watch them use it 5W/30 or better synthetic
